The owners of a modern and stylish penthouse apartment in Sutton Coldfield approached us to convert their old storage heaters to our aluminium ceiling panels. Jigsaw were contacted as the cost of running storage heaters throughout the apartment was very costly and not easily controllable. Due to having to use Economy 7 to guess what is required for the next day. The customer also complained about the storage heaters running out of heat during the colder days.
The benefits of using infrared heating for the apartment meant that the customer could fully control the heating throughout the day with each room being able to be independently controlled. Thus, saving money in the long run.
Very happy with our new IR heating system installed in one of our holiday cottages. Infrared Installation
A number of infrared heating panels were chosen for the installation.
Lounge: 3 x 800W panels white
Bedrooms 1: 1 x 800W panel white
Bedroom 2: 1 x 800W panel white
Hallway: 1 x 1000W panel white
Kitchen: 2 x 1000W panels white
Jigsaw also organised the removal of the property’s existing storage heaters.
In order to deliver energy efficiency, reliability and a high level of comforting heat to every part of the house, infrared heating panels were chosen for the installation:
Comforting heat: using infrared technology, which heats objects rather than the air, panels would deliver a much greater level of comforting heat.
Installation: the panels were easily integrated onto the ceiling through access through the loft so all the wires were hidden. The control system is all wireless throughout the property so no extra cables were required.
Reliability: the infrared panels require zero maintenance in comparison to typical convection heaters and boilers since they involve no moving parts.
Repair: In circumstances where maintenance to the property may be required, the panels can simply be unplugged from the wall and plugged back in after repairs.
The whole installation was completed in 1 1/2 days – with minimum disruption.
